How the Building a Healthy Leadership Team Workshop Works
A step-by-step breakdown of the workshop process
1Welcome and framing
In this opening step, participants are introduced to The Advantage model, emphasizing that organizational health is built rather than gifted. The four disciplines are shared briefly, and the session’s aim is stated to foster trust and clarity within the leadership team.
2The Trust Line
In this activity, participants draw a horizontal 'Trust Line' to represent their feelings of honesty and vulnerability within the team. They pair up to discuss their scores, leading to a group debrief on what builds or damages trust and identifying small behaviors that could enhance team openness.
3Creating clarity together
Participants split into small groups to tackle Lencioni’s six clarity questions. Each group proposes answers, which are written on flipcharts. After regrouping, the teams discuss any gaps, overlaps, and differences in their responses, fostering a collective understanding of the team's purpose and priorities.
