Integrated~Autonomy
Integrated~Autonomy is a Liberating Structure that helps groups move past either/or thinking and find strategies that serve both sides of a paradoxical challenge. The result is a set of robust "both/and" strategies rather than fragile compromises or pendulum swings between extremes.

How the Integrated~Autonomy Workshop Works
A step-by-step breakdown of the workshop process
1Step 1: Frame the Paradox
In this step, participants are introduced to the Wicked Question that embodies the paradox they will explore. The goal is to shift the mindset from either/or thinking to both/and strategies by highlighting the tension the group faces.
2Step 2: Surface the Tension Points
Here, participants identify specific instances in their work where the paradox manifests. Through individual reflection and group discussion, they pinpoint the key tension points they will address.
3Step 3: Generate Actions for Side A
Participants focus on generating a rich list of actions that support Side A of the tension. They brainstorm individually and then collaborate in small groups to refine their ideas without considering Side B yet.
