How the World Cafe Workshop Works
A step-by-step breakdown of the workshop process
1Setup
Arrange small café-style tables in the room with 4–5 participants at each to create conversation clusters.
2Explanation
The Facilitator explains that there will be 3 rounds of conversation lasting 20–30 minutes each, focusing on important questions.
3Discussion Rounds
Participants engage in discussions at their tables about the posed questions while encouraging doodling and drawing on tablecloths.
4Table Host Selection
At the end of Round 1, each table selects a table host to remain and share insights with newcomers in the next round.
