The Remote and Hybrid Team Toolkit is complete

Ten ready-to-run workshops for teams that work apart, with the final three added this week

This week the final three workshops arrive in the WorkshopBank library. That makes ten in total, all included in Pro.

If you run, coach or support a team that works across homes, offices or time zones, it was built for you.

Who it's for

Consultants, coaches and trainers working with distributed client teams, who need sessions that work on screen as well as in a room.

Team leaders and managers running a team spread across locations or time zones.

HR, L&D and People professionals supporting remote and hybrid teams across an organisation.

What it is

Ten ready-to-run, two-hour workshops, each with a full facilitator guide.

Every one runs over video or in a hybrid room, and each ends with something the team keeps using: an agreement, a plan or a map.

They cover four areas: working across distance and time, meetings, connection and trust, and working apart without burning out.

The situations it solves

If any of these sound familiar, there's a workshop for it.

You know something's off with how the team works apart, but not what.
→ Distributed Team Health Check

Nobody's sure which channel to use, and everything gets marked urgent.
→ Communication Agreements

In hybrid meetings, the people on screens can't get a word in.
→ Hybrid Meetings That Work

The calendar is full of recurring video calls.
→ Fewer, Better Video Calls

Decisions wait days for the one meeting everyone can make.
→ The Async Shift

Work stalls overnight while it waits for another time zone.
→ Working Across Time Zones

People are answering work messages at 9pm.
→ Boundaries and Switching Off

Someone goes quiet for a few days and people assume the worst.
→ Building Trust at a Distance

The office hears the news first, and the people working remotely hear it last.
→ Including Everyone

New starters take months to work out how things really work.
→ Onboarding into a Distributed Team

The three new workshops added this week

Building Trust at a Distance

Building Trust At A Distance

In an office, people trust colleagues partly because they see them working. At a distance, silence fills with guesswork. A late reply reads as disinterest, and the people seen least end up trusted least, however good their work.

The team names the ways distance is wearing down its trust, practises reading silence more generously, and agrees simple signals for "got it", "heads-down" and "this will slip". It starts a short weekly post where everyone shares what they're working on and whether they kept last week's promises.

The team comes out with a one-page trust agreement, a weekly habit that makes reliability visible, and informal contact built back into the calendar.

Including Everyone

Including Everyone

Distance rarely leaves people out on purpose. It happens through small habits: a decision settled in the office kitchen, news passed on in a corridor, a project given to whoever was in the room. Together they create a two-tier team.

The team maps where people get left out across decisions, news, meetings, opportunities, social time and scheduling, then compares how the team looks from the office, from home and from other time zones. It fixes the habits causing the gaps, with an owner for each.

The team comes out with that map and a short check it reruns each quarter to see whether the gap is closing.

Onboarding into a Distributed Team

Onboarding Into A Distributed Team

In an office, new starters learn who to ask and how things really work by overhearing. At a distance, they guess, and many feel productive long before they feel part of the team.

The team maps a new starter's first 90 days from their point of view, lists what the office used to teach them, and builds a plan around who they need to know, how the team works and early wins. It then sets up a buddy role and rehearses a real check-in.

The team comes out with a 90-day plan it can reuse for every new starter, and a guide for buddies.
